Most of the time though (as you alluded too), it’s usually trivial things that could be relayed to them when they’re not driving.

What really sucks though is that even if you’re careful and not Txting while driving, and you use a headset to make calls…some moron out there will still put you at risk because they’re doing the wrong thing. :(

I mean if you’re not moving (Traffic, lights, etc.), it’s cool to get a quickie txt in, but not while you’re supposed to be alert when you’re moving…cause everyone would now be at risk when it’s done.

To paraphrase (because I don’t remember the exact wording): “Maybe it’s just me, but if you need both of your hands to do something, shouldn’t your brain be involved, too?”

(I know that wasn’t about texting, but it was the most relevant thing I could think of.)
