There’s a park near the place where i’m temping that has a giant bronze statue of an acorn in the middle of it.

I’ve seen that nut! I visited my old roommate in Raleigh 2 years ago and we went to “downtown Raleigh” to have lunch at some restaurant along that park. NC is a bizarre state, yet obviously not without its charms.

that big bronze nut’s got nothing on the forty-foot-tall monument to ether in the Public Garden.

we had a 20-ft snow sculpture of speed skater Cindy Klassen in Peg City. but she got really weird looking when she started to melt.
