A few nights ago I had a dream in which I went into a store (not a store I’ve ever been to; some random dreamland store) and looked at some jewelry. There were some decent necklaces; a plain one with some wooden pieces on it one kind of caught my eye, but I didn’t end up buying it.
.
Last night, I had another dream, during which I entered the SAME dream store, and went straight to the back, and looked at the SAME dream necklaces.
.
“Huh,” I thought. “Some of these are decent. And this wooden one is still here. But I’m still not sure about it.”
.
Suddenly I bolted awake. “I am so boring!” I gasped.

Hahahaha, you so need a dream shopping guide. It’s kind of like a spiritual dream guide, except they just help you with shopping. And no, they won’t help you carry your bags. They say it’s not part of the contract, but I mean, who remembers to bring that with them?

Do they really have wooden bracelets?

During one of the most boring months of my life, I repeatedly had dreams where I’d wake up, take a shower, and eat breakfast. And then I’d wake up for real and have to do it ALL OVER AGAIN.

Davis: I have a wooden bracelet! Perhaps that’s why I only looked at the dream necklaces. And it’s good to know that my subconscious also knows I don’t have the budget right now to spend money on jewelry.
At least I didn’t think, “Huh…these were cheaper in my other dream.”

That’s just plain awesome. And, your brain is just looking out for you – I will put your dream through my brain’s dream filter to prove this:
You go into a store. You see a wooden necklace. You pick it up, thinking about buying it. Unfortunately, it carries a hundred-year-old curse, and now you will be pursued by zombies just for touching it. In fact, zombies burst out of the dressing rooms, and now you have to flee. You spend the next 10 hours of your life hiding in the abandoned town (because now the town is abandoned and all the previously happy, normal shoppers want to kill you) trying to avoid dismemberment and soul-theft. At the very end of the dream, you break the necklace and therefore the curse, only to realize that now everyone you know and love is dead or a zombie, so there’s not much point of continuing to exist.
And yes, in two nights, you get to dream this all over again.
Love your brain. At least it is not trying to kill you.
